This 944 was a dream car of mine, and I found one broken and very cheap. I repaired it and drove it for a while and decided to build it into something different than most.

We installed a 5.3l V8 from a trailblazer with full forged internals and put a rear mount turbocharger on it. Audi 01E transmission and 17z big brakes. The biggest feat of the project is getting the 180 degree headers to work. Still a work in progress!
